Fat Dissolving injections is an injectable prescription medicine.
This injection non-surgically reduces fat under the chin, known as Submental fat.
Resulting in a more contoured neck profile and jawline. It is one of the alternatives to liposuction.
These injections target the fat cells to dissolve and eliminate them. Once destroyed those particular fat cells are permanently gone.
Local Anaesthetic is used first to numb the area. Then a series of injections are performed in a grid system.
There is some swelling after the procedure especially the first 2-4 days. Then it slowly reduces.
Common side effects include swelling, bruising and tenderness.Which slowly resolve.
Other possible and less common side effects will discussed during your consultation.
Generally 2-4 sessions are required 4-6 weeks apart till desired result is achieved.
